 IPHLPAPI.LIB.

its not there on the HP Jornada 720, so i assume its not
supported. Is there another way of finding out whether i
have an ethernet card plugged into my PCMCIA socket ?

thanks
virender

The Microsoft guy in the other group indicated that it
*was not* on Pocket
PC, but Virender indicated "HPC"...

 IPHLPAPI.LIB.
Well, I don't know how portable this is, but you can look at the active
drivers in the registry (HKLM\Drivers\Active).  If you find one whose device
name (Name), is NDSx:, where x=0 - 9, then there is a network 'adapter' of
some kind there.  If there is a Sckt key there, then it's a PCMCIA (or
other, similar, bus card).
