Install Wizard doen't install ADOCE for Handheld Pro

I have an applikation for the HPC Pro 2000 and and applikation for the HPC
Pro. Both are equal except the sdk. I generate the setup with the
application install wizard. For the HPC Pro 2000 it work fine, but I can't
build the setup for the HPCPro because I can't add the adoce control, it is
disabled. The project links to the adoce control of the palmsize sdk. I can'
t find the adoce control under the HPCPro SDK.

Must I change the link for the adoce control? Where can I get the adoce
control for the HPCPro? Or is it the same as the adoce control for the
HPCPro 2000?

You may want to look at an old thread of mine on the SQLserver.ce newsgroup.
Both were dated 10/28/200. You'll have no trouble finding them. Bottom line
is that install is very tricky.

Install Wizard doen't install ADOCE for Handheld Pro
Bill's post doesn't solve my problem (perhaps I don't really understand his
post).
We add the DLLs (adoce.dll, adocedb.dll, adoreg.dll, adoceres.dll,
adosync.dll) to the application install wizard and then register the DLLs
with regsvrce on the handheld pc. Then the application works.
Then we install our first apllication that we have developped with
visaulbasic 6.0 for windowsce and install after that our new application
(the same application but develooped with embedded visaul basic) the
programm runs without using regsvrce.

Thanks a lot,
Elke

Hi Elke,

I was wondering what processor does  your HPC pro device have?

Is it a MIPS 3000?
