 Unable to connect to device

Hello,

I just reinstalled my os (XP) & evtools & SDK's and
still I cannot connect to iPaq from developement environment.

I'm getting error: "The error: "The Microsoft ActiveSync reported
following error: Unable to load device side components. Please check
server configuration settings."

Activesync & other stuff works ok but it looks like I cannot
start remote-debugging nor filebrowser nor nothing to from
developer.

What gives here?

I have the same problem with a Pretec CompactLAN, but it works over the
serial connection. i hope an USB-cable will solve this, debugging over
serial isn't funny :-( ...

 Unable to connect to device
hmm, now I had to reinstall Windows (system registry crashed) and it works... I installed in this order:
1. Activesync 3.5.12007
2. eMbedded Visual C++ 3.00.0099.0
3. Pocket PC 2002 SDK

now I'm wondering if I ever can try new technologies from Microsoft again without risking to trash the debug connection over ethernet :-/ ... typical microsoft way: when it works, their stuff's neat, if it doesn't, you can do nearly nothing about it :-(

Sven,

This solves it:

In my case I suppose it was SDE that overwrote some files
on iPaq. Just copy all files from (use correct processor-
subdir under target\)

from ...EV3\DISK2\POCKTSDK\Program Files\Platman\target\arm

To pocketpc \windows -dir.
