How ironic, the HPC 2000 SDK Download page doesn't work
I just received the release version of the HPC2000 SDK in the mail from
Microsoft. I had previously purchased the development tools eVB & eVC++ cd for
$7.50 rather than download the tools. Then about a month later (Yesterday), I
received two more cds from Microsoft. They are titled "Microsoft Windows Powered
Handheld PC 2000 Software Development Kit". One is English version and the other
is Japanese.
Has anyone else gotten their hands on this?

On the HPC 2000 SDK Beta download page on msdn.microsoft.com the message
board for the Beta doesn't even work right now. You can read, but you can't
post. I'm trying to find SOMEONE who can help me through using this piece of
{*filter*}and you can't even post there. Trying to find out if there really is no
emulator.
It's looking more and more like HPC 2000 has been utterly abandoned. Are we
going to see a final version (with emulation) of the HPC 2000 SDK before
2002? That would be nice. Especially considering it's hard to debug an app
when you have to wait a minute in between starting the app and it actually
popping up on the 720. This is ridiculous. M$ should be ashamed of
themselves.
I know, I know, this is supposed to be a vertical product for enterprises.
Tell me what enterprise is going to spend $900 on these things if you can't
even develop software for it?
