Access violation with vector<bool> in VC .NET 2003

We have run across a bug in the vector<bool>
specialization shipped with Visual Studio .NET 2003.

The symptoms of this bug is an access violation when using
vector<bool> of certain sizes.

This bug has been confirmed by P.J. Plauger and he has
suggested a fix. See this link for details:

Is there any scheduled update from Microsoft for this? It
be nicer to apply a service pack instead of hand-modifying
the STL source shipped with VS.NET 2003.

Thanks,

Pj.

Hi Peter,

Yes, this is a confirmed bug.  It is possible that the fix may be released
in future release, but so far I cannot guarantee a date :-)
