 SGI STL usable with VC 4.0

Is there any way to use a STL (from SGI or others)
with VC 4.0???

 SGI STL usable with VC 4.0
    VC4's template implementation is very bad--- It's wasn't really usable
with any STL until VC5sp3.

Look at this web site.  It is a port of SGI's version of STL, which has a
pretty good reputation.  The docs say it works with VC++ 4.X, although
I haven't tried it myself with 4.x:
