resource editor - CStatic - TRANSPARENT - bitmap

Hello!

I've created a dialog window. In the resource editor I've placed CStatic for
text labels. In the onPaint function a background bitmap is drawn. The
problem is that the background of the CStatics is grey. I've used OnCtlColor
to set the bkmode to TRANSPARENT when the CStatics are colored, but this
doesn't seem to work.

So, what is the best way to get the CStatics TRANSPARENT and still use the
resource editor?

thanks,

Thomas

I cannot access posts before 29/8, so I don't know what the post you
mentioned says. Is there a way to access older posts?
