Visual C++ 4.2 or 5.0? MFC or JFC

There are many articles complaining the bugs and
disadvantages inherited in Visual C++ 5.0. Would anyone
tell if I should buy the new version or keep on using my
Visual C++ 4.2 to develop Windows 95 and Internet
applications?

By the way, will JFC will replace MFC? If not, what merits
that MFC has to keep her survive?
