 Invalidated areas not being repainted

I have an odd problem with a particular app.  Under some
circumstances, a section will be invalidated but not repainted.  For
instance, if another window or dialog is displayed in front of the
app, then closed, the area that was previously obscured may not be
repainted.

The only custom drawing is in a CListCtrl derived class that is
displayed in one of the child windows.  However, the problem can occur
to other views without that particular control being visible, so it
doesn't seem related to my custom drawing.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chip
