 Text-To-Speech !!!

hi,

Has anyone used the Text-ToSpeech capability in VC6.0 or for that matter
in VC5.0(I am not sure if it exists in VC5.0).

Any pointers on basics to get a simple string like "Hello." be pumped
into a speech engine will be great.

I got a hold of some sample code but I don't know what header
files/libraries I need to compile.

Thanx in advance,

Do you own a speech engine?  You need a SAPI compliant speech engine, which
aren't cheap right now...

Its just that I have read the docs in MSDN that came with 6.0. Seems like
a straight forward task. I cut and paste the sample code as a file in my
dialog based app. But, I don't know what header files/libs I shuold use
to compile.

Thanx,

I thought there was a basic one provided with the speech SDK?  Mind you, it was
a while ago; I might be misremembering.
