Changing the default background color of disabled control (CEdit)

Hello,
I wanted to display stream information which would be automatically
scrolled. So I've created the CEdit control and set Disabled property.
Everything works OK except the CEdit background color, which is gray. I
want to set it to white (or any other color). How can I change the default
bckgrnd color of this disabled CEdit control?

TIA,
Yac.
