MS pls comment: Undocumented MFC changes in VC6.0

Hi,

I recently discovered changes in the MFC 6.0 implementation of CPrintDialog
that are not documented in the 'Library Implementation Changes'.
The constructor no more registers a default hook procedure so that a derived
class can't get messages and notifications from the common dialog.

Can someone from Microsoft comment on this please!

Thomas

MS doesn't really monitor this forum, it's meant as peer-to-peer.  If you
want a response you will need to contact them directly.  You can either call
them or do it through the web at
http://support.microsoft.com/support/webresponse/pid/intropid.asp

in either case I would make sure they don;t charge you a support incident
(unless you don't care) since this is a change in behavior that isn;t
documented.  Obviously you need to prove that....

One side note I forgot to mention.  If the feature in question wasn't
documented MS can make the case (and probably will) that they can change
undocumented behavior, and if you use that undocumented feature then your on
your own.

This is what they said when they changed how you interate documents kept in
the app class when 4.x came out.
