Book for MFC without using App Wizards
"Programming Windows with MFC, Second Edition (1999)" by Jeff Prosise.
hardcover only--list is $59.99--available for $47.99 (plus postage I
suppose) from www.amazon.com. Prosise avoided app wizards in his first
edition titled Programming Windows 95 with MFC--softcover only--$49.95 --
Microsoft Press (1996), but he caved to real world programming and allows
(grudgingly) for their use in the second edition. Both editions are
excellent.
