This seems to be a wird one has any one seen this (and hopefully found a
cure)

The app has been created using the wizard (I'm using vc++5 with the 2nd
set of ms fixes)

SetRegistryKey has been set to a unique name and the app creates a valid
looking registery entry.

When the a file is selected from the MRU list in the file menu
it fails and the app creates a empty file (the same name as the file
selected from the MRU list) in the apps directory.

If the app is run from within viz studio by start-debug/Go then the
MRU list works correctly, but using Execute from within viz studio the
app still fails to correctly open the file. ??

Opening a file from the file/open menu always works.
