It's the truth, honestly Bill!
Hello
I use MS VC++ 2.2 and have just finished tidying up my system32
directory, including the MFC30D.DLL
On attempting to restore it from the product CD, I've discovered that
it's badly scratched (OK a likely story I know).
I know it's a licensed file, I know what it's there for, and I know I
can get around the problem by compiling to a static exec rather than a
dll.
I'm banking on 99% of the readership having a good smirk, thinking it
could never happen to them. Of the remaining 1% someone might have a
constructive suggestion on how I might get hold of another copy of the
file without buying the product again.
Thanks.
