 VS cannot resolve -> in Watch window?

Whys cannot VS.NET IDE resolve ->(pointer)  in Watch window? It seems very
easy operation and would be very useful to have. Anybody have plug-in that
allows to have it resolved in Watch window?

Ivan,

Could you give us an example of the type of variable that you are using and
exactly what expression you are using in the watch window. Also, please tell
us what version of Visual C++ you are using and whether you are compiling
debug or release.

-> definitely does work in the watch window in all recent versions of Visual
C++.
