 Problem with Visual Studio 6.0 (Visual C++ 6.0) !!!!

hello

i have installed visual studio 6.0 enterprise on my computer (Win NT 4.0 +
SP4), i have p2 266 + 128 Mb RAM)

Visual Studio 6.0 product version is :   6.00.8168.2

and when i try to build project (compile and link), i got a message
------------------------------------
MSDEV.EXE caused an (something like) page fault in modul
something.pgv

and thes some numbers and addresses !

i also instaled visual studio 6.0 SP1 , and problem is still there (same).

i tried also with Win98, but result is same :((((((

solution ???

I see two solutions :
        1- try to buy an old version of VC++ 5.0 and wait for SP2 or
         SP3 before using VC++ 6.0
        2- change your OS for Linux. ;-)

Yeah...and FORCE your customers to spend time converting to YOUR platform...

Huh ?  Do you think moving from Win'95 to Win'NT is easier than
moving to Linux ??? I think it is a lot easier to administer a Linux
box than a NT one. But, this has nothing to do with this group...
