 More info on _finite function

Hi Guys,

     I would like to get more info on the _finite function. The MSDN says

        Determines whether given double-precision floating point value is finite.
        int _finite( double x );

   Does it work this way?

        returns true if the argument is Nan or infinity

        return false if its not.

   Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. It would be nice to have sample though.

Thanks & Best

Return Value

_finite returns a nonzero value (TRUE) if its argument x is not
infinite, that is, if INF < x < +INF. It returns 0 (FALSE) if the
argument is infinite or a NaN.

Above is what the MSDN says.
