Hello,
    Whenever I double-click on a C/C++ file I get the following error
message:

Message Box 1:

C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\sprawlsr\Desktop\temp\simple.c
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Message Box 2:

The DEVSHL.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467

There is several MFC42.DLLs on my computer of varying sizes and dates.  Is
there a way to trace which DLL was installed by which program?  If not, can
someone advise on how I can fix this?
