 Logon Scripts

I may be slightly confused...after having looked and searched and peeked, I
am now under the impression that VBScript can't be used for logon scripts.

Is this assumption true?

I have Win2k Server running Active Directory. Setting policies & hoping to
use the logon/logoff scripts.

 Logon Scripts
Clients running Win2000 or higher can run .vbs files as logon scripts directly.  NT4 and Win9x clients can't and you must execute a .bat file that in turn executes the .vbs.  If you have NT4 clients but NO Win9x, you can use .cmd instead of .bat.

 Logon Scripts
Asked and answered in the microsoft.public.scripting.vbscript newsgroup. I have
added some info about login scripts and print mappings there because you asked
about it in a earlier post.

Tip:
Please do not multipost (crosspost is ok if the groups are *few* and relevant).
