 using a mouse with conreols

i want to do a html page with controls on it the demonstrates the use of the
mouse with these controls.

i am using front page editor to do this and would like to use vb script to
create a command button the responds to a click event and a double-click
event .

so far i have not succeeded.

i can get a command button via the insert form field menu item but can;'t
figure out how to get it to respond to events{*filter*} click and double click

thanks

mike
