 Error from CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")

The Error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default
driver specified

Anyone have any clue what this means?

 Error from CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
yep.

it means that the DSN (data source name) that you tried to connect to
doesn't exist.

   Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
   Set SQLtxt = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Command")
   Set Rs = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

    '**************
   Conn.Open "DSN"
    '**************

   SQLtxt.CommandText = "SELECT * FROM myTable"
   SQLtxt.CommandType = 1
   Set SQLtxt.ActiveConnection = Conn
   Rs.CacheSize = 10
   Rs.Open SQLtxt, ,3, 1 'Keyset, read-only

The Conn.Open is where it will fail (as seen above) if the DSN doesn't
exist.  You'll need to go into control panel, ODBC, System DSN and define
one there.  The DSN (in short) is just a "link" (for lack of a more suitable
term) that applications can call without specifically pathing the database
name out.
