Help everyone:
I keep getting Access Violations with SQLServer.
I am writting a C program using ODBC API to connect to a SQLServer
Database.  I have the SQLServer Client on my assigned PC.  The ODBC
Driver is version 3.xxx.  The editor is Visual C++ 6.0

I have enclosed the code fragment that is giving me grief.  Please
everyone.  What am I doing wrong?!

My code is as follows:
--
--
--
SQLSetEnvAttr( SQL_NULL_HENV,
                   SQL_ATTR_CONNECTION_POOLING,
                   SQL_CP_ONE_PER_DRIVER,
                   0 );

SQLAllocHandle(SQL_HANDLE_ENV, SQL_NULL_HANDLE, &henv);

 SQLSetEnvAttr(henv,SQL_ATTR_ODBC_VERSION,(SQLPOINTER)SQL_OV_ODBC3,SQL_IS_INTEGER);

// This is where I get an indication that the Access violation is
comming.
//However,  SQLSetEnvAttr returns SQL_SUCCESS
//The message that get put to the debug window is :
//      Starting Vista worker thread
//      First-chance exception in sisim.exe (KERNEL32.DLL): 0xC0000005:
Access Violation.

successtrans = SQLAllocHandle(SQL_HANDLE_DBC, henv, &ConnectionHandle);
// This also returns SQL_SUCCESS

if (successtrans == SQL_ERROR)
{
     ProcessLogMessages(SQL_HANDLE_DBC, ConnectionHandle,
                    "\n\nSQLAllocHandle() Failed\n\n", FALSE);
  }

SQLSetConnectAttr(ConnectionHandle,SQL_ATTR_AUTOCOMMIT,SQL_AUTOCOMMIT_ON,

     NameLength1Ptr);

successtrans = SQLDriverConnect(ConnectionHandle, 0, ConnectString,
        SQL_NTS,BrowseResult,256,NULL,
        SQL_DRIVER_NOPROMPT);
//
// The Access violation gets raised here.  successtrans never gets a
value
//     First-chance exception in sisim.exe (KERNEL32.DLL): 0xC0000005:
Access Violation.
