 Debugging Memoryleaks, Memorycorruptions

Dear VC++ Gurus,

Are there any Alternatives to Boundschecker from NUMEGA for debugging
memoryproblems ?

I think that you'll be informed of leaks (and the source line where the
memory was originally allocated) if you add a preprocessor definition to
Project | Settings for Win32 Debug.

Tack on to Preprocessor definitions:

,new=DEBUG_NEW

The MSDN Library, under the keyword "memory leak detection, enabling",
offers a lot more info.

Good luck,

Richard

Try the CMemoryState-class.

Purify from Rational or...

add:
#ifdef _DEBUG
 int nOldState = _CrtSetDbgFlag(_CRTDBG_REPORT_FLAG);
 _CrtSetDbgFlag(nOldState | _CRTDBG_LEAK_CHECK_DF);
#endif

to the start of your app...
