Creating a new field in an exiting table at a certain position

It's possible to create a new field in an existing table at certain
position (e.g. between the 3rd and the 4th field) using the function
CDaoTableDef::CreateField? If not, can I move a field like it's
possible in MS Access without copying the whole table?

Thx for help, Roland.
