which Cursor type is the best for single user desktop application and Virtual List View

Platform:WIN2K
DataBase:Access 2000
Ado Version:2.5

Hi,
I am developing a single user desktop application,
-Each user have his own database installed.
-In order to display large amount of recordsets i am going to use
 Virtual List View

-Searching and sorting is my main concern, hence i am creating index
for each column which need to be sorted.
-Inserting is at low rate.

My questions are:
What is the best cursor type and lock for this kind of application?.
When double click a column in order to sort it,should i requery the
recordset
in order  to sort it by a specific field(remember it is a Virtual List
View,so i cant sort
the List View Items)or can i do it on the already open recordset?(depends on
cursor type?
,some types requery the database any way?!?).

When running the following Query(assuming that the 'Name' column have an
Index)

"SELECT Name From Customer ORDER BY Name"

will ACCESS create a temporary table in which he put
the sorted recordset,
,or does he hand me a cursor to the Customer Table(since it have index, why
should
it put the sorted data into a temp table?)

ANy chance to get ACCESS monitor,so i can monitor the SQL which sent to the
DB?

Thanks

Eynat
