Access violation in Recordset.Open() and Recordset.RecordCount

I get an Access Violation exception during Recordset.Open() on one of
several machines.
Inspite of the exception the command does the work.

The problem is that it takes 10 times longer then the other machines.

The command itself doesn't throw any exception.

I installed mdac_typ 2.1,
The problem occures when accessing Oracle and Jet

I think one of the dlls on that particular machine (not form mdac_typ)
are different but i still can't find which one.

any help or sugestions are wellcome.
