 msado15.dll problem

I am experiencing the following problem.  When I compile my program (using
VC6.0) that has the following line in it
#import "c:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\System\\ADO\\msado15.dll"
no_namespace rename( "EOF", "adoEOF" )
on a NT4 machine my program works fine.  But if I compile the same program
on Windows 2000 my program bombs giving me a invalid pointer error.  The
msado15.dll on both machines are different so this must be my problem right?
My question is can I change my import statement to something that will allow
my to compile on my windows 2000 machine and run the program on a NT4 or
windows 98 machine?
