 DAO vs. ADO

I'm currently learning and using the MS Jet Engine (DAO)
But I offently hear about ADO
What is the difference
Wich is the BEST
Wich is more standard ?
Wich will remain in the future ?

 DAO vs. ADO
Olivier,
The biggest, most important difference is that DAO is used only for the Jet engine
(and whatever you can access indirectly through the jet engine).  ADO works with just
about everything.
If I had to guess which one would outlast the other, it would be the one that works
with almost everything.
