SQL server 2000 , a bug related to ODBC DSN ADO related

There is a bug or a at least confusion in SQL 2K

if you uninstall sql 2k (per seat license) in win 2k and reinstall (with
processor license) .

DSN is not working properly (used ATL coms) cannot execute ADO connections
when re-building the servers this is mis-leading becuase
sql profiler still shows connections and t-sql commands for that prev. DSN.

after removing existing DSN and create new ones
everything works fine.
