running instance of COM object in ATL/MFC server

Hi,
I have a COM object in an MFC/ATL server app which fires back events to
MFC/ATL clients using connection points.  This is working fine when MCF
clients call the interface methods of COM object in the server. What I
wanted to do is to use this same object from one of the MFC class methods
(like message handlers of Cview etc..)of the server and fire the same events
manually to the registered clients. But how to use the running instance of
this COM object inside the server? Please help.
Thanks in advance
Vijay
