Any Way To Stop All ListView Items From Blinking While Adding Items

I need to add items to a VB Listview one at a time (every 1/2 second or
so) , and I need to see the new items as they are added.  The only
problem is that when I use LV.Refresh, not only do the new items appear,
but all the other items that were there blink as well.  I have tried
some APIs, but haven't found the magic one.  Is there anyway to stop
this unneccesary blinking?

This has been posted a few times but just in case you missed it, or have
already tried it and it doesn't work for!  I use the LockWindowUpdate API
this allows you to prevent the control from being redraw after each item is
added, until you have finished!
