What's the 32 bit version of _hread?

I'm upgrading an application from 16 to 32 bit and I can't get _hread to
work.

I have files saved using _hwrite that I need to be able to read using 32 bit
VB 5.0.

What can I do?

You could either use _lread/_lwrite (all data is huge under 32 bits) or the
ReadFile/WriteFile api functions.

Hope it helps,

Joe
