 Scanner, Twain, Acquire

Here is a possible solution from MS, the Wang Imaging software. They have a
scanner control. Best of all it is free. I have successfully loaded the
control into VB 5.

HI!
Does anyone know how to add the scan feature to
a Visual Basic 4 or 5 32-bit program? i want it
to be twain compatible. Searched for Acquire and
Twain in the API text viewer but found nothing...

Hello,
        I too wonder this. I do not want a control but would like to do it with
code. I know it is not possible with VB4 (without a control). I wonder if
it is possible with VB 5 now that call backs are supported. I have found
this web page that has information on the TWAIN interface.

All the examples are in C so it wasn't much help to me... perhaps this will
help you. If some one figures out how to do it in VB 5, I'd be interested
to hear.
