LogonUser API call in Windows 95/98 / How do you use Secur32.dll/Security.dll

Hi

I am looking for an equivalent API call in Windows95/98 to the LogonUser API
call in win NT.

However, i found that MS suggest suing the Win32 SSPI functions in the
Secur32.dll and Security.dll dll's in the Knowledge Base article
Article ID: Q180548

But the description of how to use these functions is entierly in C and is
only partial.
[They 'expect' you to download another C project and modify the sections
shown in the article. hmmm.]

I settled for using the MTS server we have set up to validate a user on a
domain. But now we come to distribute the solution i am very unhappy with
it.
The application should work independant of out MTS server.

Anyone have a clue as to how to use these undocumented SSPI functions.

the only other documentation i found by MS was here;
http://www.*-*-*.com/
face.asp

Any assistance in finding a solution to this will be appreciated.

TIA

martin ;-)
