Hello Everyone,

I am finishing up a project with VB4.0. I want
to put a time out in it. To have the program
turn off in a few weeks if the user doesn't
register it. I'm not sure how to do this, does
anyone have any suggestions?

I am using a settings form where the user would put
in their name a password, and a passcode.  What do I
use a label or a text box? What do I set it up with or what
functions do I use to do this. In the manual it says
that the timer only works for a few minutes not days.
And would I have to set up some kind of .ini file
to make it work?

Any insight into this would really help

try to put such information into registry during installation time. and
whenever you start your application , check for these values.
