 Very tough question for Gurus!

How can I call the NT File Permissions Dialog in code?  I don't even know if
it can be done.

James,

Do you want to show the dialog, or set permissions in code?

A search trough the MS Knowledgebase did not find anything about this.
I guess this is limited because of security reasons....
If You could use it, You might tamper with permissions, and.....
But: There might be a way, ..... ?

I want to show the dialog..   So in effect it loads the dialog with a file
of my choice to set the permissions on.

OK, I found a bodge way of doing it!

I shelled File Manager hidden and set to the correct directory.  Then I
posted the relevant keypresses to get to the right file and open the
Permissions dialog via the menus.

It's a botch, but it works.  I'd feel a lot safer if someone told me
the correct way to do it :)
