Is it possible to use a C/C++ library in a VB program?

Yes.  If it is a standard API style library, the functions must be
exported using the _stdcall calling convention, however.

Depends on what you mean by a C/C++ library.  If you mean a static
library, no.  If you mean a dll, yes, provided it's coded to support
VB (correct calling convention, nothing unsupported in the way of
parameters or returns).  If you mean a COM library, yes, provided that
everything is automation-compatible and it doesn't use any of the
unsigned types that VB doesn't support.
