 Getting Help

Hi
I am using code that was not written by me and is from Randy Birch's VBNet
site, but I am stuck and require help and would post the code to this forum.
But I do not think I can do that so how can I get help?
I am not trying to claim to be the author of all of the code can I get help
here?

Identify the exact code or utility you are using either by its name, title,
or URL.

Explain the specific problem you are having with error codes, compiler
warnings, or logical errors, with short snippets of code to demonstrate
where it is happening.

Hi Ralph
Thanks for your reply, I could not post any code as I was forbidden by
the terms set by Randy Birch, so in the end its was just plain old line
by line until I found the error( 2 Bl**** days ) still it was my code at
error not Randys.
Anyway all working correct now.

Glad to hear it's all sorted out, but for future reference, you CAN post a
link to the page for Randy's code (or a link to ANY web page containing code
that you've used in your own app). That way, you're not passing it off as
your own code (even unintentionally) and it generates traffic to the web
site, which I'm sure "owner" of that site appreciates (because every hit
might very well be generating revenue, depending on the use of
adverti{*filter*}ts).  Where it becomes a gray area is when you've modified the
code to suit your specific needs. Then you should post a link to the
original code, and include (or at least describe in detail) what you've
changed in your post.
