making Help Files - anyone know how?

Hi,

I seem to have run into a snag figuring HelpFiles out. The
VB help files seem to imply that it is possible to create
a help file dedicated to your own application.
RE:
"Building a Help file requires the Microsoft Windows
Help Compiler, which is included with the Visual
Basic Professional Edition."

This is about the only reference I could find in the help
files about makeing help files, so I reinstalled VB looking
for a Help File component. Sure enough,  ../VB/HC/HC.exe
must be the 'compiler' referred to.  However, this .exe
requires a *.hpj file as a parameter.

This is where I have hit a dead-end. Nowhere can I find
reference to what a *.hpj file should look like or what
it should be composed in.

Thank you for any help you can provide.
