 vb6.exe crashes when started

Hi all,

I installed VB6 EE on a clean WinXP.
I tried it with no service pack and with SP5,
but I can't start VB IDE.
Just before displaying the project dialog I get an error
like
"THE INSTRUCTION AT '0x3375e830' REFERENCED MEMORY AT '0x3375e830.' THE
 MEMORY COULD NOT BE 'READ'.

Is this a problem of XP?
Or might it be a hardware problem?

Thanks for your help.

Paddy

Running XP with VB6EE Service pack 5 with no problems.  You might check your
install disk for corruption.
