Task Scheduler running on NT
The Task Scheduler service that comes with NT 4.0 always runs all scheduled tasks under the security context set for the Task
Scheduler service (via Control Panel, Services). There is no way to specify a security context for a scheduled task.
A "new" task scheduler was shipped with IE 4. This permits you to specify the security context for each task individually. I'm
aware of it, but haven't used really used it.
With the Windows 2000 Task Scheduler, you can specify the default security context for tasks scheduled by the AT command, which does
not have a parameter for specifying the security context. The Add New Task wizard insists that you specify a username for the task,
so there is no "default" if this method is used.
