 Visual c++ 2003 problems with direct x 9.0a install

I've been trying for the last few days to install
DirectX9.0a. It works fine with my old project files.
None of the dx9 wizards are showing up. Vc++ doesnt seem
to realize that there is a visual studio install
available. The dx9 wizards are very important to me.Can
anyone please shine some light on this?

Thanks
SG

Sorry , I meant DX9 installer doesn't recognize the
visual studio install.

the wizard format changed in VS 2003, DX 9.0 SDK shipped before VS 2003.

therefore the SDK wizard doesnt currently support VS 2003.

does the SDK readme indicate VS 2003 support?

iirc, the SDK update due out later this year will update its wizard to be VS
2003 compliant.

I found nothing about VS 2003 support. I just assumed it
should work. I guess I have to just wait it out.
Thanks!
