Importing Jet 3.51 table into Jet 4.0 database

 Importing Jet 3.51 table into Jet 4.0 database

Is there a fast way of quickly importing a Jet 3.51 table into a Jet 4.0
database?

I have tried

  s = "INSERT INTO MyTable SELECT MyField1, MyField2 FROM AnotherTable IN
"""" [Database=D:\OldDatabases\OldDB.mdb;PWD=MYPASSWORD;]"
  MyConnection.Execute s

but this raises the "Could not find installable ISAM" error. Why?

The SELECT part works, at least in

  s = "SELECT MyField1, MyField2 FROM AnotherTable IN """"
[Database=D:\OldDatabases\OldDB.mdb;PWD=MYPASSWORD;]"
  MyRecordset.Open s, MyConnection, , , adCmdText

Many TIAs,

Emilio

Are you sure you have both Jet 3.51 and Jet 4.0 ODBC drivers (looks like one
of them is missing, probably the Jet 4.0).
