 Access 2000 MDB and VB6.0 SP5 and datagrid

I have rewriting my rpogram from acces 97 MDB to Access 2000
With A97 i can connect through my code a recordset to a datgrid like this:

    Private adoOrders           As ADODB.Recordset
    Public conData                As New ADODB.Connection
    public sSql as String

    conData.ConnectionString =Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB3.51Data Source="
& sDataPad & "Data.mdb
    conData.Open

    Set adoOrders = New ADODB.Recordset
    sSql = "Select * from Curve"
    adoOrders.Open sSql, conData, adOpenStatic, adLockPessimistic

    Set DataGrid.DataSource = adoOrders

This works with acces 97.

Now i am trying with Access 2000 but this does not work.
Does anywhone now why or what is the problem.

I works with a ADODC datatcontrol

I have VB 6.0 with SP 5 already installed and also MDAC 2.5

Thanks

Hi,

The problem is the OLEDB provider that you use.
You should use Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB4.0 provider instead of Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB3.51.
