I am using jet 3.51 to connect to an access 97 database in VB6 using ADODCs.
My forms are extremly slow to load.  How can I speed it up.

Should I switch to jet 4.0?

Switch to SQL?

Doubtful it is the database.... what is occurring during the form loads?
Can you establish the connection after the form loads or something
comparable?   Might paste some code snippets.
