 why Access97 cannot read Access2000 ?

I'm using Access 2000 for my database...what is the solution of the users
who use Access 97 to read my db??

 why Access97 cannot read Access2000 ?

You can convert Access 2000 database to Access 97 format by using Tools,
Utilities, Convert Database, To Prior Access Database Version in Access
2000. If you are using ADO codes to access the data in the Access 2000
database, you should use the Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB instead of Jet 3.51
OLE DB provider in your connection string, because the Jet 3.51 OLE DB
provider driver cannot recognize the Access 2000 database file format.
