VB6 ADO and Access 97 - Hierarchical Recordsets

I am having major problems using hierarchical recordsets in ADO. All I want
to do is duplicate the Main Form/Subform facility within Access. I am using
the data environment and a parent and child command. The parent recordset is
displayed using several bound textboxes and the child recordset is displayed
using a datagrid. I am having probs synchronising the parent recordset with
the child after I have updated a field in the datagrid. Anybody got any
ideas please?
PS. I do not want to use the datarepeater control - as I said above, I want
the same functionality as Access provides with the subform.
