 Dial Ups

Paul,

If you are comfortable with the Win32 API, then you can create a RAS
connection using a specific phone  book entry via RasDialDlg.

Try these two links for more info.

I've been playing around with VB6 and have been trying to get a program I'm
writing to use the default dialup on a system.

I can get the program to use a shell command to launch IE or Netscape and
then the default dialup would appear, but I would prefer just to get the
dial up itself to appear.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as I have been through the
manuals and trawled Microsofts site to no avail

Many Thanks

Paul

 Dial Ups
take a look at www.catalyst.com.  they have a free product called
socketwrench which does what you want.
