 Connection String vs. Connection Object

I have a question regarding the merits of
Connection Strings vs. Connection Objects.

When executing Stored Procedures, either use a
Command Object or RecordSet object, which is
better to use for the ActiveConnection property
in DLL components under MTS, and Non MTS in
regards to scalability, and speed.
